- Meeting dates and time shall be the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. January through November unless changed by the President to accommodate a field trip or for some other good cause. There will be no scheduled meeting in December.
- Yearly dues shall be $12.00 per person, due in September. Members not paying their dues by January meeting will be removed from the active members list.
- Fees for outside speakers shall be paid from the Treasury. If no fee is charged, a small token of appreciation shall be given to outside speakers. This amount is limited to $75 or the reimbursement for mileage according to the State’s mileage rate, whichever is greater. The amount for speakers shall be agreed upon by the President and Vice President.
- A door prize shall be given at each meeting, not to exceed $10, and will be paid from the Treasury. The Treasurer is responsible for obtaining a photography-related door prize for each meeting. No door prize will be given at field trips.
- The Nominating Committee shall present a slate of officers for the upcoming year to the membership at the August Meeting. Officers shall be elected in August and their terms shall begin in September. Officers’ terms shall be for one year. Officers shall be permitted to be elected to the same position for 3 consecutive years. The Officers shall consist of the President, the Vice-President, the Recording Secretary, the Corresponding Secretary, the Activities Coordinator, the Treasurer, and the Publicity Chairman.
- A job description of each officer’s duties shall be furnished to all new officers upon election. Job descriptions are to be attached to and made a part of the Standing Rules, both of which will be posted on the blog.
- If the club dissolves, any money left in the treasury after all expenses have been paid will be donated to TUAC.
- Flowers for the death of a member shall be sent and a donation requested from the members. If the full amount is not collected, the balance shall be taken from the treasury. The amount is limited to $60. Cards sent for the illness and/or death of a member’s relatives will be the responsibility of individual members.
- Changes to the Standing Rules may be done with a majority vote of the members present at a regular meeting.
