Shutterbugs attend "Puppy Love" photography exhibit

Six Shutterbugs attended the opening reception for the 8^th annual “Puppy Love” photography exhibit hosted by A Novel Experience in Zebulon on the evening of Feb. 7^th.  Francis Hauke and Linda Godwin were there, as were Rachel and Charles McClelland and Johnnie Ann Gaskill, who are shown (right to left) in one of the photos. In the second photo, Ellen Tew (a charter member of the Shutterbugs) snaps a picture of the excited photographer who received two ribbons: 1^st Place and “Best in Show.”

A juried exhibit of unconditional love...

More photographers and images than ever were submitted this year and the show was limited to 35 images. Congratulations to Harolyn Castleberry, James Day, Fawne DeRosia, Malgosia Florkowska and Dianne Kelly who had photographs selected for exhibit at the 2011 February Puppy Love show at A Novel Experience in Zebulon. Gary Gruby and Tony Cassadonte, this year's jurors, will judge the show and hang the ribbons before the reception on Saturday evening, February 5 from 6:30-9 pm. Come on out, bring friends and family and enjoy hot dogs on the grill!
