Seminar and TUAC Exhibit

Two members of the West Central Georgia Shutterbugs recently attended a photography seminar led by Darrell Gulin, a Seattle-based photographer who is one of Canon’s prestigious “Explorers of Light.” The seminar was hosted by the Photographic Society of Chattanooga. During the reception that was held the evening before the all-day seminar, Darrell posed with Johnnie Ann Gaskill (left) and Marcia Fisher. (Photo taken by Mark Gilliland.) Samples of Darrell’s photography may be viewed on

Photographs taken by Johnnie and Marcia will be among those on display during the Shutterbugs’ annual exhibit at the Thomaston-Upson Arts Council (TUAC) Gallery, located at 201 South Center Street in Thomaston.  The exhibit kicks off with a reception on Tuesday, Sept. 9th, 5:30-7:00 p.m. and will be open the entire month of Sept. and may be viewed during TUAC’s regular business hours (T, TH, F, 10-5; Wed., 10-noon; closed Mondays and weekends).
